Major Regional Highway Bypass Contract Awarded

We are proud to announce that Meteorite Construction PLC has been officially awarded the primary civil engineering and construction contract for the regional highway bypass initiative.

This major transport corridor is engineered to reduce heavy commercial transit times between East Shewa industrial zones and the primary southern logistics arteries. Civil works are scheduled to break ground immediately following the conclusion of environmental and soil impact evaluations conducted with regional authorities.

Core Project Scope & Highlights:

• Arterial Corridor Length: 42 kilometers of 4-lane heavy-axle civil expressway
• Drainage Engineering: Reinforced concrete multi-cell box culverts and trapezoidal side ditches designed for seasonal deluge capacity.
• Earthworks & Stabilization: High-specification subgrade compaction, lime-stabilized sub-base, and heavy-duty asphalt concrete binder course.
